Having been a massive samsung phone fan all my life, i have seen first hand how the phones evolved over the years.
My first samsung phone was a galaxy S3 which i still have in my possession and never sold. The phone was so durable and had survived many drops. There was never a need to worry about samsung phone repair in London.
Over the years and when different generations of the samsung S series came out, the phone finishes got better and better. The materials used in production felt and looked far more premium gorilla glass. Yet i had fell victim of cracked samsung phone ( a S10+ which had fell out of my pocket) which was many several generations newer.
So whats changed?
Why did this newer model get damaged and my older samsung didnt?
As mentioned over the years the quality of the finshes of the phones have far improved. The screen of my S3 felt somewhat plasticky, and the entire phone was covered in tiny little pocket scratches. Samsung phones now have premium gorilla glass, which is scratch proof and look amazing with a crystal clear display. The back panels are also made of glass rather than plastics.
But in the end its glass. Strengthened glass, but still glass. It was a tradeoff but in my opinion worth it for the quality and the premium feel.
